
Fox Gourmet traces its roots to Chef Melissa Fox’s mother’s Nicaraguan kitchen, where she first learned the balance of bold flavor, generosity, and hospitality that still define the brand today.
Melissa later founded Casa Fox in New York City as a catering kitchen that grew through word of mouth and eventually expanded into a restaurant.
Over more than a decade in that kitchen, she refined her menus and developed the sauces and seasonings that would later become Fox Gourmet.
Today those recipes live on as the Fox Gourmet pantry — small-batch sauces and seasonings crafted for bold flavor and effortless entertaining.
While the restaurant has since closed, Casa Fox Catering continues to produce thoughtfully executed Latin-inspired gatherings across New York City.
Hosting events for up to 100+ guests, handling food, décor, and staffing so hosts can focus on their guests.
